Caffeine
Can you skip that cup of coffee? The fact is that cup of coffee
in the morning hours really does do some damage to your ability
to become fertile. Just one cup of coffee per day is enough to
lower your ability to conceive by some 50%. Sperm is especially
at risk for problems when it comes to caffeine. You will want
to try to stop drinking all forms of caffeine while getting
pregnant which will include soda, coffee, strong teas and even
chocolate.
Smoking
Smoking is one of the causes of infertility in many women.
There is no doubt that smoking is bad for your health, but when
it comes to getting pregnant, it is even more important to take
note of. For women, it can bring on menopause early. For men,
it can keep your sperm at a sluggish rate, or even increase the
number of poor quality sperm that you have.
