Endometrial Biopsy And Infertility: What You Should Know

When a woman finds out that she is infertile, it can be devastating. Just the feeling of knowing that she can never conceive children is a very life changing experience. However, it should be noted that not all women who are infertile and have an endometrial biopsy performed eventually have children. Infertility can be caused by a number of things and you should not get your hopes up too high. An endometrial biopsy for infertility can be a very useful tool but it is not a fix all.

There is a silver lining, however, as if you are infertile, and the endometrial biopsy determined that there’s nothing that can be done for you, just remember that you can always adopt. By adopting a child who doesn’t have the benefit of knowing their birth parents, you will bring joy to that child’s life and you will also fulfill that need of having a child. Even if you didn’t give birth to that child, just the unconditional love of that child will likely heal that emotional wound you endured the moment the doctor told you that you were infertile.
