Information That you Should Know in Regards to the E.P.T. Pregnancy
Test
What is an E.P.T. Pregnancy Test?
The e.p.t. pregnancy test is a pregnancy test which is considered to be 99% accurate at detecting the pregnancy
hormone, and it is also incredibly simple to use. All you do is remove the e.p.t. pregnancy test stick from its
foil package prior to use, remove the purple cap in order to expose the absorbent tip, Hold the test stick by its
thumb grip, and then point the absorbent tip downward.
Place the absorbent tip in the urine flow for just five seconds, and then place the e.p.t. pregnancy test stick on
a flat surface with the windows facing up for at least three minutes, and if you wish, you can replace the cap in
order to cover the absorbent tip. You may also notice a light pink color moving across the windows, and it is
incredibly important to know that in order to avoid affecting the e.p.t. pregnancy test result, you should wait at
least three minutes before lifting the stick.
Next comes the part of reading the results. After you have waited three minutes to read the results, you will see
that a line will have appeared in the square window in order to show that the test is working properly; be sure to
read the result before twenty minutes have passed. If there are two parallel lines, one in each window on the
stick, then this means that you are pregnant.
Remember that the lines can be different shades of pink and that they need not match the exact color of the
illustration on the box of the pregnancy test. It is incredibly important if the test comes back positive for you
to make an appointment with your doctor so that you can begin discussing your pregnancy and the next steps that
should be taken.
However, if there is only one line in the square window and none in the round window then this means that you are
not pregnant, however if your period does not start within a week, you should repeat the test again. Then, if you
still get a negative result but at the same time still have not gotten your period or you feel otherwise pregnant,
you should immediately see your doctor, as sometimes the test will actually not work on some people, for different
reasons, such as perhaps you are doing the test incorrectly.
