Do Not Let Menopause Anxiety Interfere With the Quality of Your
Life
Menopause is a greatly uncomfortable affliction that all women have to pass through at one time of their lives. I
have not met any woman who is not partly or greatly apprehensive about the menopausal stage in her future. However,
at the same time I have seen very few women who really are prepared to take on the challenge head long. Most of the
time woman have a wait and see attitude, which is extremely counterproductive particularly when applied to
menopause.
What happens when menopause strikes?
The onset of menopause will usually mean lowering levels of hormones in the blood; which in turn will mean hot
flashes, night sweats, anxiety attacks, wild mood swings, and even depression bouts. All these symptoms come for
one reason – hormone imbalance.
As the ovaries are shutting down they will produce less and less estrogen and progesterone which brings about a
host of unpleasant symptoms. Women all over the worlds are well aware of the triggers; however they will deny it
consciously for at least one year before they accept to even think of it as pre-menopausal.
What can you do to combat menopause anxiety?
There are a lot of remedies out there in the world which will help you navigate the difficult period between the
pre-menopause and post menopause. However, there are a few symptoms that are best controlled with natural therapies
while some are better off with synthetic medicines.
It is very important that you will be and stay in touch with a good medical practitioner during this time.
Menopause anxiety can be quite complex and may not immediately answer to treatment – more so if you are not
accepting the HRT. The good news is that the herbal remedies are almost 100 per cent effective, though a bit slower
than the HRT. Many doctors advise women to start on HRT and slowly replace it with the natural methods, hence
giving you the best of both the worlds.
Staying on track
Menopause anxiety is a horrible affliction, but fortunately one that can be fully controlled by herbal treatment.
It is important here however to follow the instructions to the T and maintain all the necessary dietary
restrictions. Herbal therapies do not work well if you smoke, drink high levels of alcohol or eat too much high fat
diet. Hence, if you want it to work, you will have to cooperate with it. Hopefully, within three to four weeks you
will think of menopause anxiety in the past form.
