Stress and Menopause Fatigue
Having a normal life while going though the up and won phases of menopause can be challenging. You still want to
maintain some form of balance while you are going though the menopause phase. A lot of women who are going through
menopause have had the experience of having menopause fatigue. Perhaps due to their current and past lifestyle
their bodies are warn out and need to rejuvenate.
The causes of stress
While some people may find that stress makes them function at their best, when you are going through menopause you
do not want to overwork your body. This is not to say that you have to take things at a snails pace. You just have
to be aware of what your body is telling you. Menopause is not something that can be easily controlled, so if you
are overworking your body and demanding it to perform like it did when you were younger then you will elevate your
stress levels. This in turn will cause you to experience menopause spotting, have headaches and all kinds of other
symptoms. But mostly you will find that you will experience menopause fatigue. Be reasonable in the expectations
that you make of your menopause body. Don’t overbook things to compensate for having emotional
experiences.
Take a chill pill and slow down
Perhaps this might not be the best advice when you think about it. But in fact being a little selfish with your
time and self is the best thing you can do to stay on top of menopause fatigue. Rushing around like a headless
chicken is only going to induce your menopause fatigue and you will find that your energy levels are being zapped
at a moment when you need them the most.
You deserve to be pampered!
You should do something good for you. You have always given so much of yourself to others, why can’t you do the
same thing for you? You could book a time at a health spar or take a vacation where all you do is just read and
have fun. Invite your friend over for drinks in the middle of the week and just enjoy being chilled out. These
experiences which are not work related will help decrease your menopause fatigue and you will renew your energy
levels to their highest peek.
Even going for a pedicure or a manicure can be a way to rid you of menopause fatigue. Don’t put your body at risk
of shutting down on you. You still have every right to experience your life to its fullest potential.
